Echoes from the torn down fourth wall

During the pandemic, a lot of people searched for communities built on music participation. As a music professional, I missed seeing the music community come up with artistic answers to this desire: to hear suggestions for how the concept of music as a contemporary art form could be combined with a commitment to the community’s need to be part of the great experiences that art and music can give us.

Through an artistically based renegotiation of both “new music” and “involvement”, the project will aim to transcend the boundaries between stage and audience, between amateur and professional, between exclusivity and participation.
