Book, (art)work and materiality, part II

Part II continues as an extension of the first part of the project, where the reorganization of elements of meaning within the artist book was central. Overall the elements of meaning refers to: text, image, format and material – and therefore processes characterized by the printed medium is involved as well as experiments of different forms of text. The project examines the relation between the (art)work and the book. It rewrites the notion of the book as a representation of the work and instead inscribes writing and book as part of the work-process.

Part II concludes and summarizes experiences and outputs from part I and zooms in on the potential for a trans-disciplinary, non-linear and material based approach to text production and publishing within artistic research.
